三連休の前・A day before three-weekend

11月さいごの休日は三連休、まだそれほど寒さの厳しくないこの休日を前に

いつもと同じ部屋の中でこれを書いています。

それは半ば義務のようで、そうでもない、曖昧な作業。

わたしはこの時間をとても大切にしています。

昨年末、わたしはとある海岸と小さな森が隣接したこのキャンプ場の近くで

立ち入り禁止の古い看板を見ていました。

キャンプ場は夏季限定らしくすでに閉じられており、このゲートの先にある洋風レストランも

看板の通り立ち入り禁止となっている。

なんだか寂しかったが、それは冬の始まりの合図のようなものでしかたないのかもしれない、

などと考え、その後わたしは海岸まで降りることなく付近を散策していたところ、大きな蜘蛛の巣を見つけたのでした。

そこの主である蜘蛛の姿も大きく、その巣に捕まっていたのは蛾と黒い羽虫で、みなちっとも動かず、ただそこでじっとしているだけでした。

やはり冬に向け、獲物を確保している最中なのかもしれない、

そんなことを思いながら、わたしはなんとなくこの蜘蛛の巣の片隅に指を入れてしまおうか、などと悪戯な感情を持ちながらも、もちろんそんなことはせず、日暮前にはこの場所を去り帰路についたのでした。

The last holiday in November is a three-day weekend, and weather is not too cold yet.

I'm writing this in the same room as always.

It's almost like an unnecessary task but my favorite homework.

I cherish this time.

At the end of last year, I was at the campsite, which is adjacent to a beach and a small forest.

I was looking at an old sign that said "DO NOT ENTER''.

The campsite is already closed, apparently only open during the summer, and the Western-style restaurant beyond this gate is also closed.

I felt a little lonely because every gate was not opened in this season.

So, I walked around the area for a while without going down to the beach, and I found a large spider.

The spider's web was large, and tiny moth and black winged insect were caught it .

None of which moved, just sitting there silently.

A mischievous thought of sticking my finger into a corner of the spider's web popped into my head,

but of course I didn't do that and left the place before sunset.
